So proud. The team put up such a fight. =) At least the points were not too far apart.

**for those who do not know, this is SG's first ever Olympic medal since our independence, the Table Tennis team is winning it for us.**

i wasn't watching the match cuz i was preparing for school stuff.. then i saw your entry! heh.

but but but!! did we win? tv only has them preparing for the victory ceremony so i have no idea!

Hi dear, oh we won silver. It was somewhat expect, we're going against the world's no. 1 and no. 2 here, and China has NEVER played 4 matches before, they beat everyone soundly with 3 matches won straight in a row, so considering that we did a lot better in points than HK, it's a brilliant play by the SG team.

Hey there~

Actually we've won an olympics medal before in 1960. Tan Howe Liang won a silver medal in lightweight weightlifting then.

So actually this is the 2nd medal Singapore has won in the olympics. =)
